Does anyone else remember father christmas coming to Lewis's in the town? If I remember right didn't he start from M and B brewery Cape Hill to Aston, Lozells, Handsworth, Hockley to the town and Lewis's, all us kids and mom would be there when he went past, a scene not to be missed.

I remember going to see Father Christmas and Uncle Holly in Lewis's, you had to queue from the ground floor and follow on up about six floors. I can't remember how long it took it seemed hours. You always came away with a nice present though.
The only way is up
