This is very unusual project, it's amazing the site has survived so well and with such diverse aims for its future they might expect some success.
Unfortunately, people who would be interested in visiting such a place may not actually do so, thus making it an expensive endeavour for the two guys.
It seems they started in 2009 and it has been open to visitors since January 2011.
It is very cheap to get in, you just have to get yourself down to Maldon in Essex.
