What Are Our Police Up To

#1 by Sheldonboy , Sat Sep 07, 2013 8:26 pm

As a long time supporter of our Police service and God knows they have suffered enough under this disgusting Government.
This is a bloody disgrace.

I agree SB, but also ( concerning the link) I would not like to have a clerk to my parish council (job description at http://www.calc.org.uk/about/becoming_a_clerk.asp ), paid " in accordance with national rates " with MY money who was not aware that a parish hall needed a PRS licence if any music was to be played.

"It is not unreasonable when an officer is having a sandwich and a cup of coffee at three o'clock in the morning to provide equipment for rest and relaxation."
Well then, don't stop at music, call in the girls, rent a movie, why not get a pizza and have a nap?
Perhaps they could even try conversation and the exchange of intelligence.

Pam I have had meetings with the Police at regular intervals over many years. Yes you can learn some things from the information that they give out. But because they deal with other peoples business most of the information they have is of course confidential. Trust me if you manage to glean any tasty bits from the boys in blue it will already be in the public domain.
