Is that because it is too small?

Well, I was meant to visit the libary last Friday but i wasn't too well so I thought I would re-book it...not sure I will be going in the near future now as the mechanical book shelves for the electoral rolls kept breaking down today and I did not realise that they are not lending books out at the min...mind you the library reports that the cafes and souvenir shops are coping well with the 150.000 visitors it's had in the past two weeks..

Excellent so we paid £188 Million for a Souvenir shop and a Coffee shop. They are probably privately run so the Franchisee gets the profits.

I would Agree with you but then we would both be wrong wouldn't we.

It doesn't matter who owns them. As soon as the novelty wears off the sales will drop and the overheads will cripple them.

Yet another nonsensical piece of crap from the mail.

Castle Bromwich isn't on the A38 (Bristol Road) and a play isn't a "who".
I know I'm being picky but that paper is rubbish.
They need proof readers, and an editor with skills in English grammar and Birmingham geography.

Is It edited at all
Judging by some of the content you would thinl it was published by the Council.

It is definitely edited, that's why the things people have allegedly said don't make any sense.
They take a thousand words, pick the seventy that they like and print them regardless.

now ive seen it all ....plus a planned firework display on the roof...all this when they plan to cut the opening hours because running costs of the library are far more than at first expected...its a pity they cant spend more money on making sure that the library services are better run..this building is fast becoming more of a gimmick..

i think people will realise my likely comments !
I notice that villa will provide "numeracy and literacy workshops ". I'd better not comment on the reasons for that else I might get lynched.

How do they count the visitors?
Could it be that most of the counts are generated by the same people popping in and out all day and tradesmen going to repair stuff?
