I was in Rhyl, against my better judgement, a few years ago.
It was totally run down and seemed beyond all hope.

WSM was always our preferred place, i went there often as a kid and frequently in later years for both weekends away and for work.
As I haven't been back for nearly ten years I think a visit is long overdue.

Voltman If I was you I would take a trip to Weston they have done an amazing job.

Astoness If I was you save your money Ryhl has gone completely. If you do go don't bother taking a camera there is nothing to shoot apart from yourself when you get there.

As a kid I loved Rhyl I can remember the promenade full of things to do swimming pool, paddling pool, cycling circuit. and the beach full of donkeys and rides. What a shame.

About three or four years ago we went on a coach trip to Llandudno. The coach stopped in Rhly to let some of the people off. It looked like it was managed by Henry Taroni it was so run down, we carried on to Llandudno and was a lovely place.

Food, food food,
The must be more to the seaside than F&C.
Although they were very good at the start of Weston Pier many years ago, mostly due to being cheap, fresh, hot and covered in vinegar.

Dennis, the one at Hay Mills is the famous Bedders.

Stinking Ramsdens, was in South Yardley, I think it was where the Good Companions used to be.
I tried it only once and that was enough for me.
