So back to Telsen.

Here is the building they used on the corner of Philips Street and Thomas Street in Aston.

Volts, You certainly Know a good bit about Telsen, How long have you been researching it. SB

It's about 8 years since I bought my first Telsen mag which is what started the bug.
I drove down to Hemel Hempstead 18 months ago to collect a Macnamara model and my lastest aquisition was a 464 last year. I think I have finished collecting now. but I will be updating my website (http://telsen.co.uk/) to show the second magazine and put some pictures of the receivers and components up.

Bulova Accutrons have been haunting me for 11 years but that will be another thread.

I did that years ago, my entry is still there, being something I copied over from my website.
I have just Googled Telsen and found a few more references, although some of them are circular as in they simply refer back to my own stuff.

They only operated for a few years as a large company so it is no surprise their name never comes up in the local historic ramblings of Carl Chinn and the like.
It would be nice to be able to add some first hand knowledge to the website.

The reference library may be worth a visit. You may get Factory plans/directors names and other info. The fire Service may have plans in their archives.

You are so right. I haven't been in a library to look at books for years.
I've worked in few but never get time to browse.

I have been known to have the odd good idea, I know it's rare.
