I haven't got a penny, I gave everything away, including my house when I retired and that was thankfully seven years ago last year. All I live on now is a pension in a rent free house.

Isn't rent free considered to be a consideration in kind and therefore taxable.

i find it criminal that you work all life building assetts to retire so that the government can tax you when it passes to your children. death duties -thats one tax we dont have, so im thankfull, now if we can knock off capital gains tax i would be happy
