Drug Cheats Should Repay Money

I felt sorry for her to start with but after some thought I decided that she had been cheating for years and shouldn't have been in professional sports at all.
She has an obligation to check the banned substances list religiously, especially as she knows she is taking medication. She either failed to do this or chose to try and get away with it.
Either way she has been benefitting from it for ten years whilst doing remarkably well in sport for an ill person.

The Latvian drug she takes is called Meldonium. Sharapova claims she takes it to treat Diabetes and low magnesium, for which it has no medical benefits.
Meldonium is designed to treat Ischemia and Angina, it increases blood and oxygen flow to the heart.

Sharapova isn't alone, there are dozens of professional athletes who have or are taking it, they can't all have Ischemia or Angina, if they did they would never be fit enough to be an athlete in the first place.
In my opinion they take it for the very reason it has been banned, which is that it may be a performance enhancing drug that can be taken for legitimate reasons by people with a heart condition and therefore less likely to be looked upon with suspicion.
