No it's not Alcester Rd, I thought this one would fly considering the side of the road with the shops is exactly the same today.

It is the Hagley Road, looking away from town, just past the Plough and Harrow, on what is now the inbound carriageway.

This is somewhere I drove past this afternoon and was intrigued by the partly revealed sign over the driveway.
So, where is it (easy) and who was it?

I only know the where.

I did originally google some different names, judging by what I could read on the sign, but nothing came up

I tried that. It will require some personal knowledge and I was hoping one of our members may have such knowledge.
A more recent Kelly's than my 1880 edition is required.

Fresh start.

This is a picture I took myself in about 1981.
So where is it?

volty, the only guess I can make is that it could be around The Lawley street sort of area. nothing in this picture means anything to me. it's obviously disused railway and looks as though it could be Great western if so it may be around the Snow hill area, otherwise I havn't a clue.

It is Snow Hill Station, looking under the Northwood Street bridge. I never went any further.
Here are some more shots, two of them are on the Snow Hill side below platform level.
